The Zepeda Legacy: Generation 1 Chapter 1

Welcome to the Zepeda Legacy! 

I love The Sims. And I, like many "Simmers", enjoy creating our own Sims and playing out their lives. Ever since I was 5 I’ve been playing The Sims, complete with the desperate typing of cheat codes when everything went wrong. I could never understand why my poor Sims were always unhappy. In 2, it wasn't nearly as bad but I was also much older by the time I played. I caught on pretty quick, and everything was smooth until it wasn't (yay neighborhood corruption!) And once I learned how to mod my game and add custom content to it, I literally stayed up ALL NIGHT and passed out doing so! 😁

 But enough reminiscing about that, let's move on to the story...

This is Alex. In any games I play, his character and personality are usually very much built the same way, to make him as close to the same Sim across games as possible.

Alex enjoys playing his guitar and listening to music as seen above in The Sims 4 where he's listening to some rock or electronic through his earbuds. 

Okay, I do admit, in certain games Alex is quirkier than others... (I'm staring at you Sims 2...) but that makes him even more lovable!

I also purposely made him with brown hair originally, and he has brownish blonde in TS4, and that's only because 4 offers more palette options. Right now, I'm going to focus on his story in TS2 first because that's easily my most favorite game of the series, and the most "canon" appearance of both him and Ashly.

Now Ashly; (note to self-get a makeover and better picture from 4...) she's a sweet, shy girl-next-door type with pretty blue eyes and flowing hair. She is easily my most favorite Sim in a long time. I created her with the last name "Wisniewski", but there's no significance in that.

After creating their own likenesses in CAS, I moved them in together so that they could establish their relationship right away. 

Oh Ashly! How sweet. Already working on the Creativity skill via painting.

Ashly: "Yeah sure, whatever. I do enjoy painting all of a sudden. It's like I just NEED to."

Right.. Ookay...

Looks like you've got a ways to go. But you should probably figure out a structure of some sort as to what you're actually painting...

Ashly: "BAHAHAHAAAA!!!" *laughing fit

Alex: Was it really that funny tho

They really are a cute couple. 

(But of course they are, they are made for each other after all! 😁)

Starting this legacy was not an easy task for me. It's never a lack of desire, it's more time constraints and lack of time to be able to sit down and write. But it has been a passion of mine for a very long time. And I always come back to these Sims. These two that I created and recreated just to play them and their families again. As well as the many premades that are always fun to play with for a while!

Alex: "We're going to have a large family. I hope you're okay with that."

Ashly: "Okay!" *smiles

You two.... STAHP. 😭

After a homebody date and some prompt Woohoo thanks to ACR, Alex and Ashly were ready to start their lives together.

It was time to make it official!

Alex: "Ashly, my love, will you-"

Ashly: "OH! Oh! Oh! Oh yes! Yes!!"

Ashly: *leaps

... And with that, I will end this Introductory Chapter 1!
